Manual Lovens Rain Cover Lock

Assembly Instructions

Optional Step: Protecting the Paint on the Frame
Before proceeding with the assembly, it is recommended to apply a layer of foil to protect the paint on the bike's frame. This step will help prevent any potential damage during the assembly process.

Step 1: Position the Metal Part at the Front
Place the metal part at the front of the bike. It should be positioned here to ensure it is not in the way of the child when stepping into the Lovens.

The metal part will clamp itself onto the bike’s frame. Once properly positioned, it will automatically secure itself in place.

Step 2: Secure the Lock
Now, open the padlock and connect it to the metal part. Make sure the part of the lock where the key is inserted faces inward, towards the bike, ensuring it is positioned safely and securely.

The lock has been made as small as possible to prevent shifting. As a result, closing the lock requires some force. The video shows that closing it is relatively easy by pushing with the palm of the hand. If this proves too difficult, another good option is to secure it with a second person. One person can press both sides of the metal plate together (see the second video), making it easier to close the lock.

All steps explained in video:

If the last step requires too much force, have a second person press the metal plate:
